  • Potato Salad

    Ingredients:
    4 slices English Oven Honey & Oatmeal Bread
    For the Salad:
    4 boiled Potatoes
    4 tbsp Mayonnaise
    1 tbsp Cream Cheese
    1 tbsp fresh Parsley, chopped
    2 tsp Mixed Italian herbs
    Salt and White Pepper
    For the Sandwich:
    Fresh Lettuce Leaves
    Fresh Parsley

    Method:

    Coarsely chop the boiled potato into large cubes. Make a mix of the mayonnaise, cream cheese, parsley, seasoning and herbs. Toss the potato cubes in the mayonnaise mix and coat well. Checking seasoning. To make the sandwich, layer the sandwich with a lettuce leaf and top with the potato salad to desired amount. Close the sandwich and serve cold with potato wafers.

  • Hummus Veggie

    Ingredients:
    4 slices English Oven Honey & Oatmeal Bread
    400 gms boiled Chickpeas
    2 tbsp Tahini paste
    2 tsp fresh Garlic paste
    6-8 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    2 tbsp Lemon Juice
    ½ tsp Salt
    For the Sandwich:
    ½ Yellow Zucchini, sliced
    1 tsp olive oil
    Salt and pepper
    Few Rocket Leaves

    Method:

    Blend the chickpeas and Tahini together to make a thick paste, add the garlic, lemon juice (half at a time) and salt. Blend again. Now pour in half the olive oil and blend again. Reserve 1-2 tbsp of the olive oil for dressing the Hummus, use the remaining for blending. Check lemon flavour and salt. Empty the contents into a bowl and mix in the leftover olive oil if need be. You can also add flavours like Paprika or chopped olives. Heat olive oil in a pan, season the zucchini slices with salt and pepper and fry till soft and cooked. Remove and set aside.

    To assemble the sandwich, spread hummus on all slices, layer with zucchini slices and fresh rocket leaves. Close the sandwich and cut into desired shape. Serve cold with a side of green or black olives.

  • Spinach & Goat Cheese

    Ingredients:
    4 slices English Oven Honey & Oatmeal Bread
    10-12 fresh Spinach leaves
    1 tsp Olive Oil
    Salt and Pepper
    4-5 tbsp Goat Cheese
    ½ tsp Mustard Powder
    ½ tsp Chilli Flakes
    Salt and Pepper

    Method:

    Heat olive oil in a pan, don't let it burn. Add the washed spinach leaves, season with salt and pepper and sauté till soft but not mushy or cooked through. Remove and set aside. Mix the goat cheese with the mustard powder, chilli flakes and salt and pepper. Spread the goat cheese mix on one slice of bread, top with cooled spinach leaves and close the sandwich. Serve hot and cold if you like, warm spinach and cold goat cheese.

    Ingredients:
    4 slices English Oven Multi-Grain bread
    1 cup boiled Potatoes, cut into small cubes
    1 tbsp Olive Oil
    ½ tsp Cumin Powder
    ½ tsp Coriander Powder
    ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
    ½ tsp Chaat Masala
    1 tsp Kasuri Methi
    1 tbsp Fresh Coriander, chopped
    Salt
    Butter to grease

    Method:

    Heat the oil in a kadhai, toss the boiled potatoes in all the spices and add to the hot kadhai, gently stir around to mix and let is sizzle. Season with salt and add the chopped coriander, mix it up and cook till the potato pieces begin to become crisp. Remove, cool and make two sandwiches with English Oven Multi-Grain bread. Heat and grease a grill pan or sandwich toaster. Place the sandwiches in the hot grill and grill till toasted. Serve with hot tea and mint chutney.

    Ingredients:
    4 slices English Oven Multi-Grain Bread
    1 Red Onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 cup Shredded Green Cabbage
    ½ cup Shredded Purple Cabbage
    Few Lettuce Leaves
    4-5 tbsp Mayonnaise
    ½ tsp Red Wine Vinegar
    ½ tsp Honey
    ½ tsp Mustard powder
    Salt and Fresh Pepper

    Method:

    Make a salad of onion, cabbage, lettuce with the mayonnaise and the seasoning, add the red wine vinegar and honey and mix well together. Make two sandwiches and cut to desired shape. Serve cold with ketchup and French Fries.

  • Grilled Mexican Spiced Paneer

    Ingredients:
    4 slices English Oven Multi-Grain Bread
    150 gms Cottage Cheese, crumbled
    ½ cup Bell Peppers, thinly sliced
    2 tsp Mexican spice
    ¼ tsp Red Chilli Flakes
    ½ tsp Dried Mint
    1 tbsp Oil + extra to grease Grill Pan/Sandwich Toaster

    Method:

    Heat the oil in a pan, add the bell peppers and fry till soft. Then add the crumbled paneer, toss it till it is glossy and sizzling. Add the Mexican spice mix, chilli flakes and mint, mix together. Season with salt and pepper and remove from heat. Make two sandwiches with the cooled paneer mix and grill in a greased, hot sandwich toaster or on a grill pan, till toasted. Serve hot with potato wedges and salsa.

  • Smoked Salmon Salad

    Ingredients:
    4 slices English Oven Multi-Grain Bread
    2 tsp Dijon Mustard
    125 gms Smoked Salmon
    ½ Lemon, juiced
    ¼ tsp Tabasco Sauce
    1 tsp Dried Dill
    Pinch of Mustard Powder
    Fresh Pepper
    Salt
    Rocket Leaves

    Method:

    Slice the Salmon into thin slices. Toss the salmon with the lemon juice, Tabasco, dried dill, salt, pepper and mustard in a bowl. Lightly spread Dijon mustard on 2 slices, top the other two with the Salmon salad, add 1-2 rocket leaves and close the sandwich. Serve cold with French fries and extra mustard on the side.

  • Tuna Mayo

    Ingredients:
    2 slices English Oven Multi-Grain Bread
    ½ cup Tuna Flakes
    4 tbsp Mayonnaise
    1 small Red Onion, finely chopped
    2 tbsp Parsley, finely chopped
    ½ Lemon, juiced
    Salt and pepper
    Few lettuce leaves

    Method:

    Crumble the tuna fish flakes in a bowl. Add onions, parsley, lemon juice and then the mayonnaise. Mix together well. Season it with salt and pepper and layer in the bread slices to make thick sandwiches. Serve cold with mustard and ketchup.
