French Toast with Honey Mustard

2 Slices English Oven Sandwich Bread
1 Egg
2 tbsp Milk
1 tsp Fresh Cream
1 tbsp Sugar
2-3 drops Vanilla Extract
Choice of preserve
1 tsp Oil for pan frying


Whisk together the egg, milk, cream, sugar and vanilla. Slice the bread, soak for few seconds in the egg mix and coat both sides well. Heat oil in a pan, fry the eggs slices gently as they will be soft, fry on low till lightly crisp on both sides. Remove and spread your preferred choice of preserve on the French toasts, make sandwiches and serve hot with fresh fruits on the side.
